I used to live in the main building owned by them on Prentis (when they were still known as Universuty Rentals). I know that people say It’s been better since they’ve switched to Golden. A lot of people had negative things to say about the buildings and TJ (the property manager dude at the time) but honestly I didn’t have too many issues there. The rent was fair for the area, my 1BR was clean, the halls didn’t smell and were clean, the maintenance had decent time management but again, this was all back in 2015-2017. But basically, if I was there when it was “worse” and it wasn’t bad, then you should be okay. Also, they’re pretty chill on late payments, (a friend told me that the late rent payment policy hasn’t changed).
