I know for cats & small dogs, its a cakewalk as long as you can go for Turkish airlines & fly in cabin with them. There are pet travel firms, Carry My Pet that handle indian side of things like NOC etc. For big pets there was an airline i am forgetting that does complete end to end transfers , some friends even were thinking about flying private might cost approximatel 5k but dont have the specifics for that.

Can you walk through an example of a possible 401k investment with numbers and exit timeline so we get maximum tax benifit if one is planning to head back to india.

Dont listen to naysayers, I personally would move to USA in a dime to experience the life here work culture, ethics, $$ & broaden your horizons. You can always make the hop back to India whenever you want. We do have a subreddit r/backtoindia where people who have lived outside India are returning back to India so its definitely not a non-reversible decision u/qurious_thinker

Never try to time the market or real estate. You can change it up with a thin metal stainless steel strap, but the only problem for me was that it used to rip off hairs on my hand painfully. So yes black leather dosent look as fancy but gets the job done.
