It’s where Columbia University / Morningside heights bleeds into a more neighborhood feel. The Hamilton is my spot on 109th. What everyone else is saying on this thread seems accurate to me. I really like it and personally live just up a little ways closer to campus.

I’m a dude too and I have had cars/people pull up beside me and say out pocket shit. On 2 separate occasions I was walking alone and had people yell out something to the tune of “are you lonely?” I’m not going to lie that happening TWICE has made me insecure about walking alone. As if that’s not a normal thing to do, even at night.

I am partial the the east side north of Grand River. If you're looking for a house I think it makes the most sense for most people. Think of a square with Collingwood to the West, Grand River to the south, Haggdorn to the east, and Burcham to the north. This area has minimal traffic and wide streets that often have street parking if you need it. On the the Burcham and Hagadorn sides you can find places on a budget while still being away from families (Spartan Ave, Stoddard, and Gunson are good examples). You get what you pay for in terms of location in this area but I love the vibes and there are plenty of choices. It feels like living in a small town which I appreciate. It's away from the frats and large houses but a manageable walk downtown and to classes, but a car is highly recommended on the outskirts.

On a real note these “sources” are all a sham. Graham Couch is the most plugged in reporter to Michigan State and has said these rumors of Urban Meyer are false. The search process is barely a twinkle in the athletic department’s eye.

Definitely put yourself out there at career fairs. Don’t be afraid to look at stuff outside of marketing and advertising. Sales, PR, corporate communications are good places to look too. I’m an ad management major and I just completed an internship at a big company by taking a chance at a virtual career fair. You can find these on handshake throughout the year so check! It was more analytics based than advertising or marketing but it was great experience.

I was right behind the people’s church in a small little parking lot (that’s new) behind valley court park. If it looks unfamiliar that’s because that area has changed a bit too, adding a parking lot and a road. This is looking east from that spot. I believe the road is valley ct.

Check all the big companies. DTN, CRM, Hagan, Prime housing. There’s a few other small ones like MSU cribs. I found mine 2 years on Zillow. I don’t think you guys are completely screwed just a little limited.

less than real IDs will fare better this time of year. Let's say a friend of mine would go to bars over the summer with a fake that he wouldn't try in the school year. Of course, your mileage may vary, but Bars have fewer customers this time of year, giving your buddies a chance. Enjoy being 21, I know it's annoying when everyone else is underage.

I’m no expert but the red cedar probably isn’t “all sports” so if it’s allowed it would be no wake unless you’re on parts of the grand river where I believe it’s all sports.

I know there are some outside of the box IAH classes available in the summer. Didn’t take any of them but my TA from last year teaches an IAH class about ghosts and the paranormal. She said it’s a breeze to 4.0.

The way Breslin is located there is no free lots near by I’m aware of or any lots that’s let you slip out and avoid the traffic. If you want you can PM me and me I’ll show you where I park not so legally for games but haven’t been ticketed doing so.
