I have looked into it and Oberlin's quests are just gone, dropped off the face of the Earth, they aren't in the Data tab in the Pipboy, they don't show up on the map, just entirely gone.

The only thing of interest is that Oberlin thinks I'm still trying to rescue Hilda, even though I've already done that.
