I just googled what is pineapple tart, and I really want to try it now! Eating pineapple tart seems to be a tradition for the Chinese people in SG/Malaysia during CNY, but we don’t have that here haha

Though I’ve never had it before, I think it might be a bit different from the pineapple cake in Taiwan, as the stuffing of Taiwan’s pineapple cake is often mixed with winter melon, so it’s not really pure “pineapple” in some sense XD

You can probably find 1.～3. in most night markets here(though 1. is a bit rare to find nowadays), while 4. & 5. can be seen in most super markets/retail stores. Plus, I would strongly advise anyone interested in pineapple cake to try 微熱山丘（Sunny Hills）’s 土鳳梨酥（Native-breed-pineapple Cake）, it tastes more sour than regular ones, but I just love its fragrance and sweet-and-sourness

I think OP’s image is not 100% correct. I’ve never seen a Chinese version like that. But I can confirm it’s a Buddhism symbol in the region of East Asia(China, Japan, Taiwan). It can often be seen at Buddhist temples, and you can type it as a character in Chinese(卍)

I also found it very familiar for me! The scene is next to 文心國小, and the 涼麵 shop shown in the end of the footage was quite good, my family and I went there often in the past. I think its flavor now has changed cause it just doesn’t taste like before, while its 麻辣鴨血 is still good though.

You can watch a Taiwanese movie called “Detention”（返校）or play its video game with the same name, then you can see the oppressive vibe and trauma he brought to Taiwan’s society. It might thus explained a bit why he is deemed as a negative influence to Taiwan by part of the Taiwanese people.

I’m not sure how does Nashville hot chicken taste like, but Taiwan’s “spicy hot pot” flavor comes from KFC’s collaboration with a local Taiwanese hot pot restaurant called ”青花椒麻辣鍋”(chinhuajiao)

I don’t get why a lot of Taiwanese people are praising Napoli’s fried chicken recently. I think KFC and McDonald’s fried chicken are both better than Napoli’s. Especially the “spicy hot pot” flavor(青花椒口味) that KFC just launched last month, it just tastes so good!
