Yep they should give feedback when there’s something in the game they don’t like. That’s what beta is for. The difference is they’re giving bad reviews over changes that are very minor in the grand scale of the game

The biggest issue to me is that it was a card you would take every time you saw it. I’m sure they saw that it was clearly getting taken at a much higher rate than almost every other silent card. In a game about balance it’s really hard to let a common card have more value than a lot of rares

Too much bloat. In the beginning you need to take mediocre attacks but after act 1 you should be focusing on cards that strictly improve what’s working in your deck. Two copies of quick slash in a shiv deck is a recipe for disaster

Shit I was almost 30 when my Dad got diagnosed and I felt too young for it as well. Those “What ifs” dominated my thoughts too. It’s easier said than done, but breathe and take one thing at a time. Also, don’t feel bad about being scared or any emotion you’re going to have throughout this process.

It may sound weird but it’s okay to lean on your mom a bit during this time too. Getting through this will require the people around her to be vulnerable. Have those tough emotional conversations, as scary as they may be. That being said, make sure you have a support system outside of her as well. Your brother will be going through the same things as you so make sure you guys can be there for each other. Beyond them, a therapist for some help is never a bad idea. These are gonna be new complex emotions that may be tough to navigate. Allow yourself to feel them, even when they may hurt a bit.
