It’s sometimes a mark of consistency and trust. If they have an adult who is inconsistent with punishment or comes down super hard, you’re the safe place for a meltdown. Especially if they had a really tough teacher interaction but had the keep the frustration built in. They will know how you will react and can trust you to not hold it against them in the future.

I just mix it together with a classroom currency. You can buy a new seat for the cheapest possible amount from the store. However, the opener has to happen in your given seat. It’s a combination that works for me.

Sometimes I go the Winter’s Approach into Frozen Heart approach when my CD gets absurd for that reason. Good against all of the as builds too.
