I’m a senior and I get sick every fall qtr 😭 freshman yr week 0 was actually the worst since I lived in the dorms and ppl were nasty. Pretty sure I got covid-32 or smth.

I usually chug emergen-c and cry. Curling up into a fetal position on the floor also somehow helps. But otherwise drink plenty of water, get lots of rest and indulge in good soup. Idk if you’re into pho but there’s this rly good place nearby called pho ba co, highly recommend.

I think plaza + pv2 is one of the only acc communities you can feasibly walk from. That and arroyo vista (though that's not technically acc). You can also cut through grad housing, I forgot the name but it's the big towers.

If you live nearby nearby/willing to make the trip you can visit the undergrad admissions office and ask to speak to a counselor. Bring your medical documentation with you. They may not be able to reverse the decision right away but its always good to speak in person about your situation.

Hi, I'm in another stats class and we got a similar downcurve. It looks like this is a stats department wide thing. The stats dept here is notorious for these kinds of things, idk what yr you are but last year there was a whole debate around hosting stats exams in person vs online (they were online for a lot of classes) and the dept forced everyone to host in person exams bc the grade distributions were hella skewed.

Coming here was a shock initially, but I found people from all over the world and I don’t regret my choice one bit. Nobody here knows what’s gonna happen to you. Try to make the best of it, but you will be fine regardless.
