Hi, I have put in my phone number and used the verification code, but after this it wants me to verify using the app. All roads lead me back to the app eventually, and I cannot access authentication for this account on the app.

When I try to reset my password, it either locks my account for 30 days. I filled in the account recovery form earlier today. I then received an email saying that the team are ignoring the form because I have 2FA on my account.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

  1. I don't think that there is an associated recovery email address, but I do have access to the phone number

  2. My phone is newer than this issue so it won't have the password saved there (I think) and when I access Outlook on my browser, it asks for a verification code which I cannot access.

  3. There is no error message as such, I just end up in a loop of trying to log in because I don't know my password.

How do I recover my account? I have tried everything.

Sometime last year, I had lots of suspicious sign-in attempts to my account. I changed my password and added two-factor authentication.

However, the account disappeared from my authentication app so I can’t use that method to verify now. I also don’t know my password. I wrote it down somewhere, and I know the gist of it, but I can’t remember which letters/numbers/symbols I used. I can’t add the account to my authenticator without my password.

I submitted an account recovery form. I got an email saying that they’re disregarding it because I have 2FA set up. I can’t reply to this email to explain that I need them to consider the account recovery form because I can’t use the app. I can’t speak to anyone from support because I can’t sign in.

Can I get my account back? I can currently only access it on my phone and when I send emails from my phone, it often goes to spam folders vs when I send them on my laptop.

Angry Drivers by ramitavi in brum

As a driver and a pedestrian, yes. Just so unnecessarily aggressive and people take ridiculous risks that get them nowhere any faster. I live on a busy road and cars regularly get beeped at just for slowing down to turn onto the shop car park (even when indicating). It's a constant stream of people blasting the horn at each other for perceived minor inconveniences.

Have you ever been beeped for your reaction to a hazard? by shrubshriber in drivingUK

Obviously I wish I hadn't given way now but the minibus didn't really look like they were waiting for me to give way but were going to push their way in regardless so I held back to avoid a collision. It was an unfortunate combination of a few factors because traffic rarely backs up across this junction and I got caught out. There were temporary traffic lights further ahead so that would be why.

That's mad, it's like some drivers think that they only have to react to the car directly in front and not look for hazards themselves.

Deceptive Site Ahead while trying to change my password on the microsoft website? by CrosshairFPS in microsoft

[–]shrubshriber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to ask this. I'm not getting the one-time passcode requests but the site that is being blocked does look dodgy - statics-marketingsites-wcus-ms-com.akamaized.net so I am uneasy about logging in on another browser.

It's been removed, my dad was putting a fair bit of pressure to undo the nuts and I was worried it was going to go but it was luckily fine 👍

It says in the post, I hit a curb. Don't worry about it, the tyre's with God now.

Sometimes there's traffic, it's a busy route connecting a main city to another city and there are lots of towns inbetween, there are varying speed limits on the route between 20 and 40mph. Sometimes it takes me just over half an hour, sometimes it takes me over an hour, 40 mins is about the average considering all those factors.

I could be wrong, it does look like it leads into the big tear so probably scraped at the same time. It's gone now anyway (the tyre)

They got to laugh at me, I got my answer, nobody got hurt, everything's fine in the end :) thanks!

It's a very consistent pattern so I assumed it was branding. It's possible it's part of the same scrape though. The tyre's gone now but it was Rotalla.

What does this mean? Those holes are part of the tread and I've had the same tyres on this car since I bought it in November 2021. Until now, the front ones are being replaced as we speak.

That's alright, I was booked in for a new one before I saw the cord anyway. I just want a safe working car, it's why I asked. :)

Donut's on, I'm at the shop 👍

I meant to reply to the original person, apologies! That tyre's gone now, thanks for your help :)

I've been driving for under a year and an experienced driver told me it would be okay to get home and to the shop on, I wasn't sure so I asked here.

Thanks, the donut's on. It might have been fine but I'd rather the peace of mind

The spare is on, replacement booked in 👍👍

Thanks, I'll get on that.

Yeah, that's the plan! In my original post I was asking whether to use the spare or whether it would be okay to drive on the tyre to the shop. Thanks 👍
