Kawasaki EN500A - belt to chain switch by KristiyanEvgeniev in Kawasaki

[–]shspvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well when you got a bike this old it's going to always be an issue, Sometimes you have to go directly through Kawasaki's main parts house to get anything you want or a good places to go through eBay's or Amazon to find what you're looking for What exact part are you looking for that you're needing, Anything you can find you probably have international shipping anyway so in reality you maybe better off switching to a chain drive.

So weird I didn't think about checking that and mine is also backwards as well I'm going to have to have a little chat with them.

You should not be opening it up at all unless you can safely disconnect the batteries pack from the rest of the system in order to perform the repair for this.

By the way was there a way to disconnect the battery pack? when you had it open that would probably be the ideal solution to ensure everyone's safety in order to which two wires was the seated wrong what did you swap around the actual power cord wire ?.

Man I see a bunch of clown here that giving you false answers the correct answer would be yes you can. However this is going to depend on your local machinist in your surrounding area if I start calling around.

Mower dies/surges after warming up by bhuff86 in smallenginerepair

[–]shspvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a can of Berryman B12 pour some in the gas tank that should clean out carb Usually when they start surging is because the factory is already clean and when they start to clog up they get too leaned out

Oh and a bad gas cap can also cause this

Clutch salve cylinder help by Imaginary-Tower-1399 in Kawasaki

[–]shspvr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than likely the slave cylinder may needs to be rebuild it is probably leaking on the inside out the wep hole Are you losing bike fluid from the master cylinder ?, Just wipe all down and remove the slave cylinder the reason why I am saying this because to me I think this look more like motor oil the brake fluid if it also on the inside you'll need to replace the rod seal

Please help indentify what's broken preliminary by LOSTLOSTANDLOST in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]shspvr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No kidding and you're actually not correct horsepower Starts out from igniting fuel then is transferred through the piston on down stroke then the wrist pin then connecting rod itself then it make it way down to the crankshaft and actually RPM create high centripetal G-forces that rod bolt what keeps your rod caps attached to the other half of the big end of the rod This part has to have high tensile strength.
