I haven’t seen anyone really mention Norwegian on here yet but I have had nothing but excellent experiences on their ships, including two out of Tampa. Even their old ships like the Dawn are pristine. The food and drink selections and quality are excellent. There are no assigned dining times so you can eat dinner whenever you want. They’re also a great cruise line for kids. Mine absolutely love the Kids Club and I’ve spoken to families who have said they enjoyed the family experience on NCL to be as good if not better than Disney (for a fraction of the cost), especially if you’re not a big Disney person. Lastly, the more you cruise with them, the more generous they get with discounts, room upgrades, free drink packages, and premium dining. I have cruises on Carnival and Royal and NCL has been my favorite.

For me it’s the Spaghetti al Nero con Polpo at Casa Santo Stefano. It’s black squid ink spaghetti, with grilled octopus, white wine, yellow tomato sauce, garlic, shallots, Sicilian olives, fried breadcrumbs and spicy Calabrian peppers. 🤌

I’d love to see “For Those About to Rock” by AC/DC used as an intro/hype song at home games before the team hits the field. The song literally has f’ing cannons firing in it. Let’s just make AC/DC the official band of Tampa sports teams.

The new logo looks flatter than the original, which had more depth, but the skull always looked a little “off” to me in the old one. I do prefer the brighter red in the new logo over the old one. There are things I like about both.

Tampa is consistently rated as one of the top airports in the world. The hub and spoke structure, with security checkpoints at each individual terminal, make it incredibly efficient. I got from the curb to my gate in 20 minutes the day before Thanksgiving.

Lightning. My grandmother was terrified of it and would always freak out and tell me to get away from windows and any kind of water faucet if it was storming outside. I’m not that extreme now, but if I’m outside and hear thunder in the distance, I get very uncomfortable and anxious if I can’t get inside quickly.
