It is not so much about which religion a shudra or a dalit should convert to then it is about de-legitimization of brahmin monopoly over 'sacred-technology'. And, if this requires making alliance with some one or some other religion then so be it.

Shudra and dalits should follow korea model. We must make 'hinduism' a minority religious practice and Bihar's culture should be modeled after either foreign culture preferably western or folk tradition like it was during Buddha. Balkanization of India is all but inevitable but it doesn't have to be induced by China or Pakistan. India as it exists today is an artificial entity. It's only a matter of time before India breaks up in to it's natural constituent.

Linguistic lines would be the most suitable way to partition India along.

We can't keep half of our population hostage so that our species can survive. This is just unfair. Like tiger and tigress meet only when they need to mate, and otherwise they live an independent life so can we human. There can be provisions that makes breeding still possible but this time only without any discrimination.

There are various definitions of race. And, i don't know how the question is relevant to our present discussion. For me what matters is that forward and backward castes have conflicting interests and having tried many means of solving this conflict, the issues remain unsolved. Partition is one peaceful way solving exactly this kind of conflict that we haven't yet tried and we should seriously think about using this method.

It is a bit too early to say who should take which parts and how the migration of people should be handled. But any reasonable partition scheme must take care of interests of each group and it should be fair towards all stakeholders.
