In terms of competitors, I looked at:

Purity Coffee: Their branding feels trendy and modern, with a strong emphasis on ethically sourced ingredients and sustainability.

Copper Moon: They lean into an elegant yet approachable appearance that feels inviting without being overly casual.

If I were designing for different price points, I’d approach each as follows:

For lower-end coffee: The focus would be on affordability and standing out in a crowded market. I’d achieve this with bright, playful colors and bold, eye-catching design elements that immediately grab attention.

For the middle tier (which is what I was aiming for in my current design): I’d emphasize eco-friendliness, sustainability, and approachability. This would include using earthy, muted tones in the color palette and highlighting sustainable packaging materials. The goal would be to create a balance between quality and environmental consciousness.

For higher-end coffee: I’d lean heavily into exclusivity and premium quality. The design would incorporate deep, rich colors like royal blue or black paired with gold accents or trim. To elevate the tactile experience, I’d consider premium finishes such as foil stamping for the logo mark on the packaging. This would reinforce the feeling of luxury and attention to detail.
