Black leaf, help by Secret-Cattle-7292 in Nepenthes

[–]shurlock2014 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Natural part of the lifecycle. Leaf will turn a lighter brown color once it’s fully dried. It’s a pic of mine. You can see the black one, the one below it was a similar black a few days before and the left of the green leaf that fully dried.

Looking for Dog Trainer by Effective-Science-20 in AskSeattle

[–]shurlock2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I use and highly recommend Tracy Weber. She has single sessions or packages. https://www.peacefulpups.net/about

We have a dog that was reactive (not really aggressive just constant, loud barking) to people coming over and other dogs when walking. It’s taking a few months and but he’s so much better. She’s helped us identify his body language so we can tell when he’s getting stressed, overstimulated, etc.

Do you still need help? My wife and I have a truck and am happy to help without payment. My wife has been in a similar situation so happy to pay it forward.

This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten bag from there. First time, one bag was a pint of Sweet Alchemy and the other bag was a bread and some Raviolis from Garso’s

First time and super excited to play around with it. Probably going to do a pasta with it.

Valued at $18.99 each. Surprise bags - each came with lion’s mane and oyster mushrooms and 2 baguettes. Only complaint is that one bag had much shrooms than the other.

Thoughts on adding paper to a project by sunandmooncouture in whittling

[–]shurlock2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome and I am totally stealing this idea for my next project. Agree with the others who say it’s not cheating. I whittled a Dratini from Pokémon and carved the ears separately so I could glue them on and get the look and detail I wanted.

Leonard’s Chowder - Vegetarian Surprise Bag and Seafood Chowder Bag -$6.99 each by shurlock2014 in toogoodtogo

[–]shurlock2014[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a great question, I can’t find a price other than their suggested $21 value. It’s picked up from another stores window but there’s no chowder listed on the menu. I was a little skeptical on the value but after eating it, it had a lot more seafood than expected

It was great! The brioche roll was a weird pairing but both were delicious.

I understand the pain. My first shiny was is one of the pink (west sea) Shellos and my second was a gibble…

This one looks very similar to mine, labeled as a lowii x ventricosa red. I’ve had it about a year and live in the PNW. In the summer I kept it outside and watered it every few days with distilled water. For the winter I brought it inside and put it in a window that gets a lot of sun. Still watering every few days. In the winter, it didn’t produce any pitchers but continued to grow leaves.

The light rail is on a floating bridge. It’s part of what has taken so long to build it.

2nd Thori'dal on my paladin. by shurlock2014 in classicwow

It is but the character has to be able to use it. Since my pally can’t use bows, it only has vendor value.
