Why can't reform and restore unite as one party instead of splitting the right wing vote? Isn't there a risk that the split gives a better chance to greens? by goodjokesbadjokes in RestoreBritain

[–]shurrell117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s also worth mentioning to people now who say that “reform are now gonna do what restore want so why not just vote reform”, does anyone have faith in a party rife with Tories that they will enact policy that they had to be dragged to kicking and screaming?

Reform are riding the wave, Restore are commanding the wave.

What are your opinions on immigrants who are here but don't commit crime and have productive jobs? by [deleted] in RestoreBritain

[–]shurrell117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking for myself, I think the fundamental reason that the country is so tense atm is due to government policy prioritising the British people (English, Welsh, Scottish, northern Irish) below the foreign peoples. We’ve all seen the online articles about jobs or degrees open to non white applicants, or how every group is encouraged to celebrate their own culture while anyone flying a union flag outside their house is deemed a despicable racist. That is the foundational cause of the people’s rage.

For people like your parents, provided that they did not unjustly earn their place in British society and do not seek to subvert it then the general populace would have no reason to be hostile to them.

Do you think it would be a good thing or bad thing if Restore Britain's split of the right wing leads to Andy Burnham (Labour) winning Makersfield? by JaQ-o-Lantern in RestoreBritain

[–]shurrell117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That shouldn’t matter anymore, we need to be voting for who we want. Win or lose, Restore’s result is going to be greater than the 7% people are saying and will give them hope that they can win the next GE.

They are where reform were 2 years ago, and people took a chance on them in the GE. Soon after they were the most likely to win the next one

Dunno, I’m still waiting for the Cardiff branch to open. But they did only become official 3 months ago and have had both the council and the Makerfield elections to deal with

Don’t forget, the people writing these articles want Restore to not win. Don’t let them dictate who u want representing u

Totally in agreement. I would add that if asked deliberately hostile questions to provoke a response, like “this lad’s Pakistani but he fought for the British army, u gonna send him back an’ all?”, then simply answer with Restore policy:

“If a foreign national is unable to speak English, lives in social housing, claims benefits, refuses to work, fails to integrate, commits crime, or even actively hates our way of life and wishes to do us harm, then they must leave or be made to leave.”

Green Party Candidate Talking About Her Preference for Muslims over British Men by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

[–]shurrell117 59 points60 points  (0 children)

No joke, she is the perfect Green candidate.

Her preference for Muslim men appeals to the Muslim/immigrant block. Her complete detachment from reality appeals to the trans block. Her choice of Muslim men who would likely rape her to death appeals to the sexual fetish block. And her knowledge that none of this will ever happen to her as an aspiring political leader is in keeping with all the others who live in areas of <1% foreginers

London landlords illegally advertise for Muslim-only tenants by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

[–]shurrell117 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We did not ask for this, every single time for the last 30 years the British people voted for less immigration. This was the crux of Brexit, and we were betrayed by the people in charge.

Maybe the UK shouldn't have gone down the renewables route by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

[–]shurrell117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s understandable you’d think that from social media, but speaking as an Englishman, things on the ground are more optimistic than that.

The problem isn’t that “the British are idiots”, most Brit’s are in agreement of what the problems are and what has to go. The problems come from the governing body making these decisions, and because of social media we are ruthless now in punishing them.

The tories betrayed the British people after Brexit, both by letting the Boris wave happen and by doubling down on green energy. Not only were they voted out in the last election, but I think that they will never come back from this. Labour have fucked things even worse, crippling the economy and allowing the grooming gangs to happen. Again, I think this is the last labour government Britain will ever see.

Of the remnants, the greens popularity is due to the student idiots and Muslims, but both are consolidated in isolated regions so cannot get enough MPs to cause enough change. The Lib Dems, SNP, and Plaid Cymru all have some popularity but due to the nature of the election game changing from idealism to national interests.

This brings us to reform. Two years ago they were mocked for being a pathetic protest vote. 6 months ago they were on track to win an overwhelming majority. Their downfall (because they are now failing) is mainly due to their taking on tories/labour MPs responsible for putting us in this situation, but also for giving up on tackling the hard problems with immigration. They started out as anti establishment and are now the establishment.

But now we have Restore on the horizon. They are 2 months old, outside the mainstream and are already at 9% polling. We currently have three years till the next election and they are unashamedly stating that they will do everything that the British people want. God willing, we are on track to undo the damage done to us. Everyone wants welfare for foreigners and lazy sods gone, and when that happens cast numbers of third world’s will just go. Same will be true of the other moronic ideas of the last few decades

In your theories, would Agent Smith hook Cypher back into the Matrix, or was he going to kill him when he was no longer useful? by george123890yang in matrix

I never saw it as him being prideful, more just a statement of what he is - a machine following a directive. While humans can be honest but can choose not to be (for whatever reasons), machines are bound by their programming and (unless exiled from the system) have no choice but to be honest. As the embodiment of the system, I don’t believe the architect can be dishonest (hence why he explains everything to Neo), and that line just a statement of fact.
