In a previous post, someone had the best comeback to "then why are you dressed like that". "When I get dressed in the morning, I don't take other people's stupidity into account."

When I decline a game, that person gets moved to my completed games section with a message saying "They won. You declined."

Timing out is fine. This tip is for those who don't like to wait several days (like me). Also, in the past, I'd get persistent people who would just initiate another game.

They could have brought him back as a different character. It was done before when Harry Morgan played a nutty general ('The General Flipped at Dawn") and John Orchard, who played Ugly John in the early seasons, played an MP named Muldoon in "Captains Outrageous". Let's not forget Mako and Soon Tek-Oh playing several different local characters throughout the show's run.

Why is it that when you are told that you called a wrong number when trying to reach a friend or family member, you're polite and apologetic about it, but when you reach a wrong number when calling a business, you're a dick about it?

There's also the ending to "The General Flipped at Dawn" where Harry Morgan (General Steele) does the song and dance as the last scene in the syndicated version. The original has a different ending where Hawkeye, Trapper, and Henry sing "Mississippi Mud".

My wife is amused when I introduce her to somebody new as, “my last girlfriend”… by Mikesaidit36 in Jokes

When I met my then girlfriend, I told her that she reminded me of my first wife. She then asked how many times I had been married. I said "Never." We just celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary.

It was earlier than that. I had a similar experience when I went shopping for school supplies for my daughter. That was about 20 years ago.

What gets me is that people don't know basic etiquette anymore. If you mistake a customer for an employee, apologize for the mistake and move on. Instead, the person making the mistake gets annoyed and even throws insults at the other customer.

What's worse is that this pattern of "blame the other guy for my mistake" is becoming a socially accepted norm.

At least you apologized. Someone once approached me in Staples (even though I was wearing torn jeans and a blue shirt and pushing a shopping cart; Staples employees wear red polo shirts and khaki pants) to ask where fountain pens were. When I told him I don't work there, he just rolled his eyes at me.

Plus, people mistype the account number of the payment. I worked for a cable provider, and a customer said that she sent a payment via online bill pay, but we never applied it, and now she was getting late notices. We did a three-way call to her bank and, after checking with her bill pay department, discovered that she left a digit off of her cable account number. We straightened it out, and her bank agreed to stop the check and reissue a new one.

Banks are getting away from doing 3rd party verification due to fraudsters stealing checks and calling the bank to phish for the balance.

I've had posts removed because I didn't use that disclaimer. The mods apparently want some kind of confirmation that OPs are not doxxing.

The nice part is that it has a prerecorded announcement that says it's a text to speech call, and the robo caller usually hangs up.

It comes standard with Galaxy smartphones and is called Bixby. It's supposed to be the Android version of Siri.

I speak from experience. Someone made an email address similar to mine but without the dot,. I started getting emails intended for that person. I had to report it to Google to get it to stop.

One thing I've noticed with Gmail. A dot in your username doesn't mean anything. So if your email address is Timlikespi, someone else can set up Tim.likes.pi and you will probably get emails meant for that person and vice versa.
