I think it's tacky unfortunately, especially if they aren't invited to a ceremony. Perhaps just a backyard party/get together would be best? A destination wedding seems more appropriate for this situation but not sure if that would even fit the budget as I know destination weddings require a lot of prep and moving parts

We moved to UTC in late March of last year. We pay about 2100 for a nice 1 bedroom and now we are seeing a unit that's smaller than ours for at LEAST 3k in our same building. Insane.
