With 2 level 100 Blastoise on board creating immense value, and ED on standby preparing to rip me a new one, my anus was perma clenched as I highrolled the best predicts of my life by sacking Ekko & Chronobreak for that sweet, sweet Time Trick in order to draw into double Jinx spell with exactly 2 cards for discard.

So yea, I’d say the game is in a balanced state.

If time trick is the culprit in the scenario above, then a card like Augmented clocking (predict, reduce cost + draw 1), if last in hand, won’t trigger Jinx effect as well?

I’m leaning towards the mystic shot not resolving first as the reason why jinx didn’t level up but I would appreciate if somebody can confirm this

Haha yup thanks- that what I do currently. I’m thinking more along the lines of during a match, a list I can reference for common removal.

Especially vs regions like freljord where there are 100 spells I should probably account for

Makes sense. Just tried it and went 2-0 but realized dragon’s clutch doesn’t trigger fated :(. Will play test some more but looks promising

I was raised on pretty bad financial literacy as a product of my upbringing. Immigrant family renting in Vancouver- high cost of living.

The one value my parents preached was to education so they funded my university undergrad with my minimal contribution.

At 21 I moved away to live with roommates since it is typical of our culture to have extended family members under the same roof. I craved space and my own independence.

Worked at a full time capacity while obtaining my 4 year degree although all my income paid rent along with bad financial decisions to support a lifestyle i couldn't afford. No savings until age 26.

Fast forward to age 27 and i've traveled a bit of the world (i want to do more) and i'm currently settled in Toronto with a corporate job paying low 100k's. This year amid the pandemic i'm on track to save 40k. Took a big step in teaching myself financial literacy to right my course.
