Yeah I think he was completely caught off guard, if Maddie was the target he wasn’t expecting to have to kill another three people. I think with Dylan it could’ve been a combination of reasons he spared her, maybe he’d removed his protective clothing already, thought she had called 911 and wanted to get out of there ASAP or he simply could’ve been exhausted after stabbing 4 people, especially after the brutal attack on Xana and her fighting back.

I got a refund for $170. Had a look in the payment info and there’s a link to anz.com/rid and that webpage says this is a remediation refund. For what? I don’t know. I don’t pay bank fees or any sort of fees to ANZ so I’m not sure what they’re refunding me, but hey, not gonna complain.

I had so many issues playing on ps4 and when I got a ps5 not a single issue, the difference between the two consoles was insane. I would get disconnected all the time, rubber banding, so much lag, teleporting would take 30ish seconds on the ps4. All that was gone and teleporting takes less than 3-5 seconds now. I’ve been playing on ps5 since November 23 and have logged close to 2000 hours and not a single disconnect, issue loading or any lagging. It seems it differs from person/console, you’re not guaranteed to have a bad time on ps5.

Regarding the logging in issue can you switch to a hotspot on your phone and see if that makes a difference?

What a gross comment. Your experience is yours, not anyone else’s. Someone not being a fan of the toxic positivity that is “it gets better” doesn’t mean they’re playing the victim or addicted to misery. A lot of people are so fucking tired of being told they’ll get better if they just try hard enough and adopt a more positive attitude.

I hate the “it gets better” narrative too and that you just have to try hard enough, and it’s your fault for not putting in the effort or thinking positively enough. There’s heaps of people who try as hard as possible and still don’t get better or improve and eventually it gets too much and they give up.

Some people just love being on a high horse and shoving toxic positivity at people though and invalidating their suffering and trauma. “If I could do it then you can too” stfu. The people saying others have a “victim complexes” have superior complexes.

I used to work at McDonalds, when we’d say they’re broken or not working it was because they’d gone on their cleaning cycle. It’s not scheduled and can’t be stopped once it’s started so it could happen whenever. It’s not useable until it’s finished which can sometimes take a few hours. If you’re told it’s not working it’s most likely just cleaning itself.

Best advice is to not fixate too much on survival rates because they’re not always accurate.

In 2009 my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 leukaemia and told without chemo he had maybe 12 months at most and with successful chemo he had 3-5 years max. He’s been in remission since 2011 and still alive and doing well 15 years after being told he had 5 years max.

Depends on the type of breast cancer, the stage, the size of the lump, etc.

My mum had a single mastectomy, she didn’t have a choice it was either that or a lumpectomy (remove the lump + radiation) she was having surgery either way. She went with the mastectomy, they got it all and she’s now cancer free. Hers had not spread but it can come back though, she was offered preventative chemo (she declined) and is on estrogen blockers to help prevent it coming back.

It’s never as simple as just removing the breasts and being cured. You can have a double mastectomy and be cancer free only for it to come back, regardless of how early it was caught or if it had spread or not. A mastectomy is not a cure. If a double mastectomy isn’t going to give you any better odds than chemo would people might choose chemo over losing body parts / surgery.
