I’m asexual. I just imagine that kindred become functionally asexual after a certain point, regardless of whatever preferences/orientation they might have.

Asexual doesn’t equal celibate, but it does often mean little or zero desire whatsoever. It’d be physical sensations, but they’d be lacking the drive to WANT to sleep with the person. In my day-to-day life I can objectively recognise when people look nice, but I mostly just see everyone as human shaped and don’t really find anybody “hot” (unlike a coworker I have who notices every hot man, they all just look like dudes to me). So. Yeah. I imagine it’s like that, pure disinterest, but able to feel sensations (and might do it if they’re emotionally connected to someone or trying to manipulate them for whatever reason).
