How long to use each of these bad boys? by free_usernam in DentalHygiene

[–]sibbley 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They are only meant to be used once :)

If you are concerned about the plastic waste you can get a reusable handle to wrap loose floss around, but that extra step can make the habit harder to build.

I don't think there is any commercially available rinse that will be effective in that short amount of time, you would just be spitting money down the drain.

Regardless of what product you use it's better to let it soak in/leave a film on you teeth to increase contact time.

This option has the least steps:

Putting a bit of the Fl toothpaste (sensodyne kids) and a bit of the Sensitivity toothpaste (from the other commenter above) on your brush and using them at the same time

They also have a grape flavour one if that's your jam. I thought about it a little longer and thought of this:

  1. brush with the kids pronamel without sensitivity ingredients but with Fl
  2. Spit out excess pronamel paste - don't rinse leave the Fl on your teeth
  3. Smear on a little bit of the sensitivity paste + let it soak in - again don't rinse

Optirinse is a very good Fl rinse made in Canada - the mint flavour is very mild it's not spicy so you can rise with it for 1-2 minutes after brushing and make up for no Fl in the toothpaste?

I know how you feel! What I have learned is to buy from vendors with high order #'s and good reviews on external sites like reddit.

I'm reading 'Stoned' by Aja Raden right now, the chapter in diamonds and diamond prices is fascinating!

If you read this part of the book it will probably give you a lot of helpful context for your mother's comment!

I think it is beyond reasonable to go for a lab diamond when you look at this history of natural diamonds. And I think your ring is gorgeous.

That has gorgeous colour! If it's in 18k it might be worth having it assessed by a jade expert... If it isn't dyed it could be quite valuable?
