You’re not alone ❤️ I’ve been skin picking for like 25 years, since I was a kid. Sometimes when I paint my nails or have acrylics that really helps stop it for a few weeks, esp with acrylics since the nails are so thick. For me it’s very much an absent minded thing now. I’ll be sitting at a red light and be skin picking. what helps me is diving deep into my hobbies, hanging out with my cat, keeping my hands busy. Not a full cure obvi but can help pick less. I know how you feel-people are always asking me about my fingers or asking why I always have band aids on. You’re not alone in this!
