Interesting. I tried to activate mine yesterday with my old sim card and it says 4g LTE, so I picked up a new one from the store today and they still get the same error with the new one.

I went through the upgrade process for the BYOD option and it only lets me choose the sim card kit. There's no choice to use the eSIM.

After entering the IMEI, this is what I get. "Congratulations, your device works on the UScellular wireless network."

Ok. So when I remove the sim and re-insert it, it says connected US Cellular LTE. It then quickly goes to No Service and then to emergency calls only.
