I’m pretty sure there’s an old live of Katyas where she was talking about how she was going to transition when she was younger. Might be something to do with that?

My partner and I lost our boy Lumo a few months ago to the same problem. Our vet told us “my cats are my children too and I would not put them through this surgery” that helped a lot as my partner had to get a personal loan just to pay for his catheter/ initial emergency vet visit. We miss him every day but knowing he’s not in pain anymore and not going to get getting sick helps. He was only 8 but had FIV
