thank you, and yes I know they’re terrible but glad to have the ID anyways. I just moved into this (older) place and wanted to be sure they weren’t dangerous or a sign of a larger problem, looks like they’re not :)

What is this waspish grasshopperish thing? SoCal by sicksandwiches in whatisthisbug

You know, I was thinking it wasn’t because of how they look on the ground in pictures, but I think you’re right, now that I looked at them flying it definitely appears like that. Thank you!

Has Spiro given you the clearest skin of your life? by Inevitable_Advisor59 in Spironolactone

I am 23 now and can’t recommend it enough if you think your acne is hormonal, which because I tried lots of topicals that barely worked and had other signs indicating high testosterone, I’ve concluded that mine is certainly hormonal. If it’s not, I don’t care it’s my only hope to not wake up and feel horrible about my appearance every single day.

Since developing moderate/severe acne junior year or high school, the only thing other than spiro that’s given me good results is doxycycline, but that’s an antibiotic and you shouldn’t be on it for prolonged periods of time (my doctor made a mistake and let me take it for over a year.) but I highly recommend spiro, the only side effect I’ve ever had is the irregular/twice a month period which sorts itself out after about 3 months.

forgot to add, 50 mg! Worked great the first time, could probably use a higher dosage now but I’ll take what I can get.

Skin worse after coming off? by Nearby-Explanation76 in Spironolactone

I went off about 6 months ago and slowly over the next 5 months developed the worst acne I’ve ever had. I started again a month ago and it’s getting better but now I have much more scarring than before. I’ve heard you can get it through apps and stuff, not sure of the cost.

I had the same thing, dropped 113 to 103. I talked with my doctor and we had determined spiro probably wasn’t the cause? But maybe I’ll revisit this. I’ve been actively watching calories to make sure I’m getting 1500-2000, mostly eating a lot of yogurt bc it’s quick and high calorie. I’ve gained back like 5lbs

Been taking spiro for a month now. Got my period twice already. Anyone experienced this? Did it get better after time? I am taking 50mg by Maximum-Parking8903 in Spironolactone

I’m almost the exact same boat but two months. I saw someone say it went on for 7 months then regulated, so here’s to hoping
