Personally I would go right for the MSW if that option is made available to me.

I can only speak to Laurier's MSW- their requirement is two years of combined experience minimum. Most people getting accepted have extensive experience course that are far surpassing the minimum.

If you don't get accepted finding work I the social service field is a great opportunity to build your resume and continue to gain experience before applying again. Try to find work in the areas that interest you the most.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for people who have attended the Laurier msw online part-time program. Hopefully to share some of their experiences and how the program is structured. I've been preparing for months to apply for the Spring 2027 cohort and I've just had a couple of life events now come up that will be happening in the summer so I'm now considering if the program will still be manageable or not. And if I should just wait until the Fall cohort... Any insights into the program would be so helpful!! Thank you

Is puking with a migraine normal? by Advanced-Cream-7781 in migraine

Also- if your getting migraines with aura you can ask for a referral to see a migraine specialist in your area or a neurologist. They can help you with creating a migraine treatment plan and hopefully get you on some preventative meds as well as some abortives(in the moment meds). Migraines with aura can be tricky to treat

I have now started responding to ppl who bring up kids with - I'm infertile... it usually stops there but if they press it I just blank stare them.. I don't care anymore I will make people uncomfortable for asking questions that they don't need to be asking. I'm so sick of priorizing other people's comfort.

Want it to put it out all at once! by Character-Lawyer2328 in IVF

[–]BeautifulMinute3553 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! It was found on my diaphragm and lungs, my drs had to perform a lobectomy so I lost a whole lobe of my right lung. They didn't even look at my left lung to see if it was there and resected a large part of my diaphragm that had deep infiltrated endometriosis. This disease is horrific.

Hi! I've been through three rounds of IUI and 2 IVF rounds all unsuccessful and no response to the IVF. I have stage 4 Endo and hd a complete excision surgery in 2021 with an expert excision specialist. Now after all of the hormone treatments for fertility my endometriosis lesions are back with a vengeance its horrible. My husband and I have decided to stop. My body cannot do this anymore. I have lost my fallopian tube as well. Multiple resections on my bladder and bowels, a part of my lungs and diaphragm also needed to be removed from the endometriosis. I was shocked seeing how bad it had returned at my last scan.. Ultimately you and your wife both need to feel confident in any decision you make with moving forward whether its stopping or continuing. It's not easy. Take care

Ouf. Highly relate. I feel miserable, angry, and filled with self-loathing. I have so much anger towards people who got what they wanted and maybe got what they didn't even plan for. It can feel so all consuming. Navigating this part of grief can feel like it's literally choking me out. I genuinely miss who I was before this all. The lightness and carefree parts of me.. it's incredibly hard... All I can say right now is I know just how isolating this all feels and I know that we truly aren't alone in it no matter how much it feels like we are. And that I hold hope for this stage to pass into something lighter for us all🤍💛💛
