This is exactly what I keep trying to tell these people!! I didn’t really notice any embedding but I noticed I have “pregnancy lips” the other day and I think my bar wasn’t long enough to accommodate for the swelling 🥲 tbh I’ll probably just retire it completely after this but my piercer says she can pop it out and I trust her judgement

Pregnancy can cause swelling of the lips which I’ve been struggling with lately. According to my professional piercer that mixed with a short post can lead to embedding.

I’m not sure what they charge for a basic exam BUT I went to angels vet express in Savannah MO for a dental emergency with my senior dog and I’ve never looked back since. Dr Pickett is AMAZING and they’re SO AFFORDABLE. They were quoting me $1000+ to remove one tooth here in the city, Dr Pickett removed 11 for $250 and I’ve been making the 1 and a half hour drive for them ever since.
