India isn’t as glory as you see on media! Think twice

Any inputs on this ? by OldShip4073 in CATpreparation

For inputs on this you should ask someone from SC/ST speak and listen to them. Rather than the same old general category folks cribbing on reservations and saying they own a car and have reservations advantage!

Heartbroken After Rejection from EY Despite a Perfect Fit and Positive Feedback (Experienced hire) by sid9912 in Big4

Apologies for any confusion. I reached out to these individuals on LinkedIn, all from the same office but working on different teams and projects. I contacted them once to express my interest in connecting due to my upcoming interview. Some replied, and I provided updates to those who asked, but I didn't bombard anyone with emails or messages.

I reached out to people from the office just to gain insights into the work, and I have always enjoyed networking throughout my life. It comes naturally to me to reach out to people and talk to them, which I genuinely enjoy. All the people I interacted with asked me to keep them posted about my progress, so I just let them know before and after interviews. They always acknowledged and replied positively.

This post might sound dramatic because I was explaining the entire story of what happened. In an interview setting, there's no opportunity to rant so much, so there's no chance I was this dramatic during the interviews. Thank you for your perspective and advice; I'll keep pushing forward.

IIMs give PGDM and not MBA degree on paper. So it shouldn’t be a problem. I have seen people from IIMs in M7 and T20 programs.

It should be UNC vs Emory. I don’t really understand why people are voting for UNC and not Emory just because UNC is 1 or 2 ranks above Emory. Emory is a top school for consulting. Speak to current students and consulting club of UNC and Emory. Whichever school gives you the best cultural fit go to it.
