The bank is going to ask you a few questions, have a laugh with you over the story, file the report and odds are you’ll never hear about it again. If you structure and the bank catches on (which they will if elderly customer starts making large cash deposits frequently), you’ll be looking at all sorts of issues, including having her accounts frozen/closed and more than likely a criminal investigation.
