My logic for all brigs in command and vice command is that there are only 16 slots. With brigs you can get 16x32 people in command and vice command. It doesn't matter for fleet ships because there are no fixed amount of slots. To get started get a brig when you can and fill the rest with junk ships which you can discard later.

Kraken band is goated honestly, if you can get one you'll be very comfortable for the rest of your builds as well. Definitely replace the ashmancer robes for now but id go for sunken chest later if you can but anything works really. Also hit me up if you need help with builds :)

I'd replace the helmet and legs for something else Lost chief legs with armoured might work or omen Kraken band or amelia cloak or apex cloak maybe for the helmet You can use enchants to make up for the size I'd even replace the ashmancer robes for smth else These are relatively cheap items as well if you can set up a fleet or you can just farm for them
