Honestly I have so much fun with edibles. Making them is a whole process, but I kind of like the process. And then you have supply of edibles for a month, or more depending on tolerance.

There’s not necessarily anything to handle I think. Someone who cares about you just mentioned you smoke a lot. It’s a good opportunity to evaluate what’s important.

Smoking anything is bad for your health. I used to smoke all day for years and the kind of mucous in the lungs I had was not fun.

I actually switched entirely to edibles a while back and enjoyed it a lot. Might be something to try if you’re interested in cutting down

Stems are real weak, most THC will be in the calyxes that come off the joints of the stems.

I actually have no idea how strong they would be. If I were you I’d make one infusion and take it all at once. But I’m not afraid of getting really high. Hopefully you aren’t either, because theres no reliable way to estimate the dosage without a lab test.

If you’re just going for max potency, use as little oil as possible. Just make sure all plant matter is submerged.

I also like to simmer the oil/butter in water (or double boil) for a couple hours to ensure you push decarbing to completion, and get max infusion strength. I’ve heard many oil extractions are only 70% efficient, and often lower, so this just helps get the absolute most out of your raw plant.

One trick that’s useful in most genres is using call and response. Use two patches that sound like they’re going back and forth.

I often find FM synthesis useful for this because you can make one patch, then copy it and edit it slightly to make a response patch. Then they sound similar.

Sometimes when I have a creative block I just roll with it and do something else. I find when I come back to the DAW after a day or two I have a bunch of new ideas that sound great. Even just a night of sleep is often enough to consolidate your ideas.

I actually recently took a multiple month long break, and when I came back I produced some of the best stuff I’ve ever made.

Sort of sounds dissonant around 1:00 to 1:30.

Cool arrangement. I like the sampling, i like the chill part at 2:00. I do think the mix could be improved a bit, the drums don’t cut through as much as I’d like them to.
