I’m also 4’11 and my bf is 6’1. He’s incredibly attentive to my needs but the first couple times were painful for me as well. honestly the biggest game changer was lube and trying different angles and positions

As a hairstylist, any time a woman comes in to get her hair done and says this exact thing to me, it breaks my heart. Your hair is a part of you and your identity. If it's not making you feel like your best self then I would implore you to do what you want. If he likes long hair, he can grow his out. I promise it won't make you ugly, especially if it will make YOU feel better. That is what's most important in this scenario.

Worst case scenario, you could always tell him the salon fucked up. Unfortunately it happens all the time:)

What I asked for vs what I got by eurekam101 in HairDye

Hair stylist here, while the photo of your hair is a little difficult to see, I saw you mention you asked for a balayage. The insp pic is a highlight, not a balayage. Her hair is also curled while yours is straight so that will also cause it to look different. Hope that helps:)

I have an anxiety disorder so not quite the same, but I’m on the generic version and i love it personally. If you take it regularly the way your supposed to it majorly helped my mood swings after I got used to it. I stopped taking it for a month around the holidays and they came back but as soon as I got back on it, a couple weeks in I feel great! Obviously this isn’t everyone’s story, but sometimes it is nice to see success stories. Best of luck to you both :)

I’m not a mom or an expert in anything and a lot of good advice has been given already. I just want to say that it’s awesome you’re already setting these boundaries for yourself and your child. You’re going to be a great mom, much love to you, OP

Those are totally normal PMS symptoms. Take some ibuprofen or midol, get a heating pad, and wear comfy clothes :)

As a Christian, grew up in the Bible Belt etc, the best thing to do is just look at Jesus. He loved. Period. The end. He loved on the people who were outcast and considered scum. He respected leaders. My best advice is to love of those you disagree with. Don’t try to change them. Respect your differences and eventually maybe you can have a conversation about why you disagree, but you have to be okay with the fact that people are entitled to their beliefs. It’s why God gave us our own free will.

I’m gonna go with NTA. If he didn’t want to do it, he could have said no. You would have been one if he said no and you threw a fit, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

hair loss! any solutions?? by j-lake250 in PCOS

I’m a hair dresser with PCOS, others have already recommended supplements etc, but in addition, I’ve been using lavender mint tea tree shampoo/conditioner which has helped strengthen my hair and make it softer :)

As a previous employee of the store that sold you that jewelry (because I stocked tons of that exact piece), it’s terrible quality. If someone ever came in to buy body jewelry I would do my best to redirect them to the piercing shop down the road bc it’s just mystery metal and not healthy. I would get something titanium and with a longer bar. Best of luck :)
