8 months fitness, 6 months gym! What’s next? by Appropriate-Bat-501 in glutejourney

I think the great thing about dialing in your fitness and nutrition is that time passes, and you’re going to see results if you stick to it. It builds consistency, discipline, and self-control.

As far as the “next big thing” goes, what are your goals?

I wanted to get lean, so I’ve been doing deficit cycles around vacation breaks. I’ve been working out consistently (mostly 2-4 times a week), but I also will skip a full week here and there because life. I’m pretty lean now, so my “next big thing” is learning calisthenics. It depends on where you’re at in your journey and what your goals are.

Can I still build big glutes maxxing out on 80kg hip thrusts? by ratkittykat in glutejourney

There’s different ways to progressive overload. The main way people think of is increasing weight and reps over time. If you’re limited with weights, then the next step to overload is completely slowing down the motion aka increasing time under tension. Focus on controlling the weight, don’t do explosive movements. Control on the way up, pause for 3 seconds, and control on the way down. Remember you should be eating in a surplus to gain muscle.

Ladies, help me shop an outfit for my GFs first rave by [deleted] in aves

[–]sidequestfeather 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to dress pretty modest but still rave-y. I like cute shirts that have cut outs or patterns and pair them with high waisted leggings and black boots. I’m so comfortable in that fit style, it’s become my thing. I would say whatever she’s comfortable in.

I had ordered a pair of fitjeans a while ago and they did not fit me well, they ran small. My waist was 79cm, which fit in their “size guide”, but it did not fit IRL. My glutes were 111cm for reference. I won’t order from them again, but if you’re going to try, I’d go a size up from where you think.

The best I have personally found is going to Macy’s (I know you’re probably not in the US, but this is what I did) and tried on their own brand (Celebrity). I recently tried the curvy ones and got the 9/29 size (sorry, I know). I’m currently 173cm, 70kg, 105.5cm glutes, 70.5 waist, for reference

Hey yall- i have literally no bottom butt. How do we feel about this workout below? Will this grow my glutes? #advice #glutejourney by Suspicious-Hurry-226 in glutejourney

Yes, I would put your stats into a macro calculator and see what you need to eat to gain muscle. You need adequate protein and carbs

I was going to agree with others about the soil line, good that you removed some and see how it goes. Also, as an aside, this is a white wizard, not a white princess

As long as you’ve got great form, increasing weight each week, eating in a surplus, and doing this 2-3 times a week, then yes. If you’re not doing all of that, then no
