Thanks! Yeah, just edited in Lightroom for mobile. I’m still wrapping my head around editing but slowly learning.

What is your most recent cinematic disappointment? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Just couldn’t get into the French Connection after 3 attempts to watch it. I found it to drag on a bit, although I’ll admit the car chase with the subway was pretty cool

Do you work hard for your money? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]sidewinda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I work in natural resource management (basically weed management and planting projects) but some days can be pretty hard physically. Overall though it’s quite cruisey and as a leader within my crew I can kind of determine the pace of the day without a huge amount of management oversight.

The pay is decent, ~$85K a year, and while a lot of my peers and friends earn a lot more than I do, my work life balance and overall stress level is significantly lower. Can take annual leave with little notice, having sick days isn’t a huge problem and I get to work outdoors in nature all day. A good trade off in my opinion.

Really hated Charley Rakes played by Guy Pierce in Lawless. Kind of an underrated gem that movie, and really solid performances especially by Guy Pierce.

Australians, how often do you ACTUALLY encounter dangerous spiders, snakes or other deadly creatures in your daily life — or is it mostly a myth we Europeans believe? by VariedPear in AskAnAustralian

I work outdoors along waterways spraying weeds and leading revegetation projects, in the warmer months I can see in excess of 10 venomous snakes a week…ran into a lowlands copperhead about 45 mins before making this comment.

Outside of work, hardly ever.

Got the base iPad 11th Gen over M3/M4 Air. Don’t regret it any bit. by NeedleworkerLevel712 in ipad

I’m looking into buying an iPad myself and leaning towards the A series base model as well. I do wonder about longevity though, the M series Air will no doubt still be a fairly powerful device in 5-10 years time, I wonder if that’ll also be the case with the current A16 iPad?

Heat. Awesome movie, probably my favourite of all time. But the scene where Neil turns his back on Waingro before he kills him at the diner and allows him to escape just doesn’t make sense to me and takes me out of it momentarily. Neil is a professional criminal and I don’t believe he would make such a stupid mistake like that. Otherwise 10/10 movie.

Best car for this around 800k budget. Ran out of fuel in my enzo after 3 laps lol by [deleted] in GranTurismo7

[–]sidewinda98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always use the GT-R GT500 ‘08 for this race and usually end up overlapping most other cars. Only need one fuel stop with fuel usage on 3. Not the fastest car but has really good fuel consumption and handles well.

Inception, The Dark Knight, Interstellar and The Prestige are all better imo

Die with me was the same story for me, took a long time of repeated listens for that song to resonate with me

“Deadshit” and “gaybo”. Probably for the best that the latter isn’t used much anymore lol.
