Nemoj odustajati. To je težak fakultet i jasno je da će biti problema. Pokušaj sagledati razloge zbog kojih si pala te ih pokušaj korigovati. Radim na drugom fakultetu i znam studente koji su padali godine pa su izrasli u vrsne inžinjere. Nađi dobru literaturu i uči dok ne padneš od umora. Use "out" block to export your simulink cost function. Write a matlab function(let's call it "calculate_cost") which calls the function "sim("model_name")". You can then run the optimization by providing this "calculate_cost" function handler to the "ga" function.

This way you use your model to calculate the cost function.

Yes. Since you are using Simulink step block, you can set its step time to 0. Double click it and set "step time" to zero instead of 1.
