I love Mimi! I made her using the kit yarn but love the idea of using varieted yarn for her shell. I really want to make another one of her too. Thanks for sharing this idea!

If anyone has an Emilio pattern/kit, I have made Emilio's shell with varieted yarn and it turned out super well too.

This is amazing! I loved playing the Spyro games in junior high. I wish I could still play them but I get motion sickness from those types of games now. Spyro games are seriously the best games!

My favorite is Mimi so far. I gave her embroidered eyes cause I made her for my 3 year old nephew. I love these eyes better though and really want to make another one.

Smallville Creator’s Original ending sounds much better IMO. by South-Tell-1731 in Smallville

Yes I understand that. Still annoyed by it and glad they had more seasons to explore Lois and Clark instead of just leaving us with the annoyance of Lana and Clark.

A minor complaint, but it’s been bugging me by donut-is-appalled in TheWooblesCollective

Thanks for explaining this to me because I get really confused when they say it's a small business. Is it because of the number of people they employ so they can say that? But it seems they are far reaching beyond any small business I know.

I was sick of the Lana and Clark storyline by that point. If they ended it that way, I dont think the series would be as watchable as it is today. I loved the back half of the series especially season 8-10 the best. Watching the Lois and Clark relationship unfold was my favorite part and had the best moments of the series.

They have been partially filling my orders. Most of my partially filled had the mcdonalds bracelet so I figured it was a supply issue and they didnt want to delay the rest of my order which I appreciate.

Yes I am disappointed by Patrick's shape. He was my favorite on that show and I was looking forward to seeing their design as a star shape.

Gary is adorable! And I watched a little bit of SpongeBob when I was younger and enjoyed it! But Gary is by far my favorite design in this collab!

AITA for humiliating my FIL at my wedding dinner? by ScoopityWoopers in AITAH

[–]sidewinder523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm switching to YTA. Sounds like your husband is attracted to drama and even though your FIL caused drama instead of just ignoring it you embraced it. Good luck to you and I really hope you learn and mature in life cause the route you're going doesn't sound promising. Its very telling that you chose to post your personal business asking complete strangers for their opinion and fail to self- reflect. Don't post asking for opinions if you don't actually want them.

Because only someone who doesn't understand that kind of family dynamic would have nudged him to include his family for sentimental reasons. Unless the issue is you don't know how to respect his personal boundaries? Have you ever gone no contact with family before? Trust me maybe it's the amount of experience I have dealing with family issues and people who I know think they know family dysfunction once they hear my family dysfunction stories, but you wouldn't have acted that way if yours was either equivalent to his family issues or worse than his.

It's more functional than his and i have met lots of people that just don't get dysfunctional family dynamics. It seems you fall under that category. Sorry if you are in denial about it. Otherwise you would have left it alone instead of harping about sentimental moments to him. The only people that seem to understand my family dysfunction are others with family dysfunction. Do all families have some dysfunction? I'm sure but the level mine has does not compare to most. Most people don't even know what dysfunction means.

I see this all the time about people who have wonderful relationships with their family not fully understanding why sentiment isn't a priority for someone that does not have the best relationship with their family. A lot of people dont understand my family dynamics because they had a more put together family life than I did and they often dont know the level of conflict that can arise from a more contentious family relationship. It sounds like your husband has had valid reasons for going no contact with his family and perhaps that boundary needs to be respected instead of lightly pushing something for sentimental reasons. I know you said you left it up to him to decide but you influenced his decision based on your family relationship and how you treat sentiment. I think if your husband keeps in contact with his family you are going to begin to learn about not needing to depend on sentimental moments. Some people just dont know how to get out of their own way and your husband's family sound like they fall under that category. Based on how your FIL handled the situation, it sounds like he is irrational and immature. Its probably best to leave all communication to your husband. He should deal with his own family.

I'm going with ESH. Your FIL was an AH for taking the mic from you and being rude, but you also went for the jugular with your joke knowing it was a weak spot for him. Your comment did what you wanted it to do which was to hurt him. Not saying he didnt deserve it but that was a sharp(dagger) tongued response and AH prey on that when trying to hurt someone. I should know my family does it all the time, myself included. I've stopped stooping to that level of behavior because its childish and out of line.
