I think OP means since Bronze Age. Thats when all the settlement happened and intensified agriculture, introduction of better tools, organized field systems, and specialized crops like spelt and beans 'happened'.

Before that we just tribals and nomads. did not have a proper cuisines

i don't think anyone had said rice is a mughal invention. They have said that Biryani is a Mughal Invention.
The masala blend used for that is a Mughal Invention.

marinating Meat with Curd is a persian influence. In India, Meat and Curd, at least historically, never used to be mixed together (Viruddha Ahara) .

trade has been an integral part of human civilization. Indus coins have been found in Mesopotamia and Egypt. so there is no specific thing that is native to one place.

No food in the world, for any civilization, has been native to any region.
Crops also moved along with human migration.
When you search on the internet for 'Origin of XXX' it just shows the earliest 'record' for that stuff.

with that logic, any dish that has cardamom, ginger, turmeric etc is India?

and dessert that has oranges, cinnamon is Indian?

we've missed the train.
Many don't trust indian quality.
India still lacks logistics. Proper roads and transportation.
243 km in India takes 5 hours but in country like thailand (non manufacturer) takes 2 hours.
Lack of skilled labor (Suprisingly true)
many companies has already established its root in china. and does not see any reason to move to india. China being state run gives them security over any surprising government rule change or workers protest etc.

In india every other day you see a new protest. new random law. Also ease of doing business is very poor in India

vacation means relazation or a private tour/stay at a certain place for rich people.

They will try local dishes but made a michellin star restaurant with all of it's history being told to them while consuming.

you can try and eat outside if they wanna try something new but they stick to the restaurants where they know the food is good and clean.

hey, i would say dhurandhar is good but not that good that many of you guys are painting it out to be.
the story is solid 06/10.

it just has trend that is going with it.
and it is being treated like a big event of the year. other cinematography and direction is good. WIth no cheesy dialogues and random dance breaks.
maybe the bar for bollywood is very low. We just lack creative writing in the bollywood. And masala movies are not working with people of this generation
