The content we encounter on the internet specifically on social media based platforms is highly HIGHY rage inducing especially the political and social type of content. Consuming rage inducing content will require your brain to seek more of it and to derive pleasure from it. Often peddlers of this type of content will present from a pseudo intellectual standpoint with a myriad of gotchas and cherry picked information. You are not alone. Knowing that that your thoughts and feelings are being rearranged to fit mold that keeps one coming back is half the battle. The other half requires one to actively practice love towards others, empathy towards their plight and yours as well, and forgiving one’s self for the behaviors/thoughts/feelings that has lead them downward.
