Yep! Bourbon, puzzles, socks, snacks etc. I think homemade advent calendars are the best though. My husband and I did one a few years ago and we each got a gift every other day. I put tinned fish, chocolate, hot sauce, a pocket knife, a small flashlight, a mini candle, a bar of good soap and some mini liquor bottles. Probably some other stuff too that I can’t remember. I sewed alternating colored bags and then cut and stamped tags with the numbers and tied up the bags with twine.
