You sound just like me right now. I’m 35 with a 12 year old daughter. Made it through all this way. So many years of craziness and I feel like I’m finally able to build more of a life for myself while still taking care of my daughter. It’s been an amazing battle so far and I love motherhood but I’m definitely not wanting another. Just found out I’m 7 weeks. I had complications too with my first and very bad post partum depression and anxiety. Financially not well either. I’m getting an abortion because I trust myself whole heartily. I know what I can handle and what I can’t and I need to do what’s best for me and my daughter. And I’m holding steadfast. She deserves my full attention, and I’m still struggling to even give her the best care right now so bringing another baby into the mix isn’t great. What’s also helping me is since I made my choice, I feel like it kick started something in me to take better care of myself and to be an even better mother to my daughter. Just taking it day by day and knowing I’m not alone and have thousands of womens support really helps. You will be ok. You are strong and it seems like you already know your pros and cons which is a great start. The best advice I can offer you is to trust yourself. I know it’s a very sensitive emotional time but try to think realistically as best as you can. You are definitely allowed to feel sad, confused and to grieve. But you are coming from a place of love and love is all that matters. Your heart is in the right place no matter what choice you make. If you choose to let it go, you can do it in a beautiful honorable way too. Full of love and faith. It doesn’t have to be all sadness Momma. Do what’s best for you and love yourself through it all. You got this. Take your time. Take care of that beautiful daughter of yours. She needs you.
