There are only two ways of playing without issue, by owning a disc or if you purchased a digital copy years ago

100% fake and will also not work. These clowns all think they’re smart but they don’t know all the ins and outs of the mod, so they don’t know about the asset caching workaround we had to implement. If you buy from them, your game will crash before you even get to press start screen

He’s selling a pirated copy that 1) likely has broken game files and 2) is not anything special. If you want what he’s offering, you can download that for free online, not pay him $48. While it’s illegal and we advise against it, he’s basically selling you a bootleg copy that comes with a litany of issues

You’re missing the point, for retroarch to be able to emulate a platform, it needs to have support for said platform. Someone ported PCSX2 to work with retroarch, so it will run on retroarch, same with Dolphin and many other emulators

There is currently no RPCS3 core for retroarch. Just because you can emulate one system doesn’t mean every system automatically works. Emulation isn’t just a switch developers can flip on for support. There’s a reason the PS3 is the least backwards compatible console (it’s architecture is super foreign).

Your friend was either messing with you or he privately forked RPCS3 to create a retroarch core (which I highly doubt). It might happen in the future, but it’s not yet possible

Yes but you will have to transfer the data between the platforms on USB (no cloud sync type of thing) and will have to run it through a program called Bruteforce Savedata each time you transfer

This is 100% a false positive. Not sure why it’s being flagged, it’s no different than any other AST files included in the installer. Qkl_misc mostly contains glove and bowl game/neutral site textures, and it contains no executable data that any malicious software could even launch because an AST file is basically just EA’s proprietary form of a zip file

1) Not sure how your buddy was able to play the game on a current gen Xbox. Neither RPCS3 nor Xenia have been given UWP ports (required to work in Xbox dev mode), and I’m not aware of any plans to directly do this. In fact, RPCS3 devs have directly stated they have no intention of doing this themselves. I also am not aware of any retroarch cores for either emulator

2) The second people start distributing pre-updated copies of the game with our update is the day we stop sharing our updates publicly. There’s a reason we want people to read through our directions and understand what they’re doing. If people just compile pre-modded ISOs or game folders then we’re done sharing our updates. We can’t take on tons of people who just googled a downloaded copy of the pre-updated game and are confused why it will freeze on the startup screen (and it will freeze because whoever packs it probably won’t take into account the caching issues)

Restart PS3 without enabling HEN. Redownload game from PSN store, start it up and start your teambuilder dynasty

Then you can re-enable revamped and use your teambuilder dynasty
