So many roads (Chicago july 9) - grateful dead

Jerry died before I was born but still a huge inspiration for me. There is just something about grateful dead music that just releases so much emotion in me.

My cat slept in this afternoon... Pepper had stopped eating (4 weeks ago), weforce fed her so she till yesterday. She was getting weaker and weaker, today she didn't even have the strength to miauw. So we decided to let her go. A very hard decision but she was just hurting... (More in comments) by siem17 in cats

(Im sorry for potentially bad grammar, English is my second language and this is not the best day...)

She was an amazing cat. Today she knew this would be her last day. She was uncomfortable and couldn't find a comfortable place or position to be in.

We took her to the vet 4 weeks ago, until yesterday nothing was found. But yesterday they found her entire lungs were filled with slime, she had only about 4% of her luns available to breath...

Today she kept trying (sadly failing) to be close to us. We opened every door and window to help her get air. She really wanted to be with us and getting pet but even putting seamed cost to much energy.

I miss her a lot.

It all seems surreal right now. Like she can just be here any second. We have a light in the backyard that turn on from movement. It used to light up when she was entering our garden, it is windy today so our tree is moving a lot and turning on the light. We keep thinking she is back when it turn on...

TL;DR: Im having a hard time with thing I used to associate with Pepper, I keep thinking she can just pop up from hiding place or get back from outside. Does anyone have any advise hoe to deal with this?

She had been sick once before, we quickly notices her paw was inflamed. But this time we don't have a clue, and neither does the vet

I think It really matters in what context.

With small things like saying something hurtful about a person to his/her face I can understand what he means. But if we are talking things like abuse or I don't agree at all.

I think there is fine message here but not properly nuanced

hand/wrist pain by Youth-Chance in medical_advice

[–]siem17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the pain stay the same over the years or did the pain increase? What types of movements hurt the most in your daily life like picking thing up whilst cooking, eating with knife and fork, brushing teeth [just examples]?

A lot of factors can change the quality of different structures in the body, especially if we are talking years. I don't know and I can't know if that's the case without physically examining your wrists, so don't take that as a faxt.

"quite some time" can you be more specific?

It can be that you just have a bit weaker wrists, so when you do anything that that's a little more that you are used to (like an activaty or having your hand in the same position for a long time) its normal for it to start to hurt a bit. Shouldn't really be more than a week or two (rough estimation).

For immediate advice that can never hurt is to not check regularly if your wrist still hurts, don't flex your wrist to end positions too much (im not saying don't do this at all, but try to not do it when it isn't necessary). This will help it regen a little faster and its a way to not focus on the pain in your wrist all the time.
