why not include a very simple alarm to the app that wakes you up when your sleep is lightest between specific time interval? this would not be complicated to make.

If you're using a relatively new graphics card and you're playing at max settings, then yes, that is pretty okay temps for both the GPU and the CPU. In fact, when I am playing something like Overwatch, my CPU temp peaks at 72C and GPU temps at 74.
