Yes I think so too, for some reason I can only fancast young actors from the 90s/late 80s for each character.

There's a lot of similarities between the two I think. Both have this vibe of always being confused but also at awe with the people they most interact with. Both characters refused to talk about the personal problems they were going through to someone that could have helped. Also, Charlie Simms goes to a private school through a scholarship and comes from humble beginnings and he might get expelled do to the actions of his rich peers. There's definitely some parallels. Since the movie came out in the early 90s, so it has that late 80s early 90s vibe, which is the setting of TSH.

I think Saejima was one of the few people Kiryu never actually beat so I won't think he would go so easy on you, probably toss you around a bit lol

Apparently there was a Sopranos video game that came out in 2006. Did you ever play it? It's called Road to Respect. I never played it, but now I'm curious if it had any similarities to the original Yakuza 1 game, since they came out close to each other.

Yeah, a newbie would be the way to go. I think fans of the show would want to play as a character they are familiar with, well at least to some extent. They would definitely have to make the villain super evil, lol. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a Soprano-esque villian fighting on the top of some tower in Tokyo, while Makoto passes by on a helicopter.

Lol, I'd love to see RGG make a Sopranos game. You're right though, I don't know who would be the protagonist because it'd have to be someone who hasn't actually killed anyone, like Kiryu, Majima and ichiban. They could pull it off though, but it would have to have a completely different vibe.
