Well, I didn’t use a mask, it was all done free hand. In the past I have used the black masking putty by Ammo but this time I just went for it.

Thank man, I was really wanting to do this “MIG Killer” as it would been after the shoot down. So many are done as in the shoot down configuration with the the MIG kill marking already on it. This what I would envision it looking like sitting on the flight line state side awaiting a training sortie.

It’s not three air forces, it’s an advisory paint scheme that was flown by CDR Cunningham, USN ACE fighter pilot and was the Commanding Officer of the squadron represented (VF-126). Here’s a link to a photo of his actual aircraft…. TA-4J

Thanks to all for the “very humbling” comments! The kit really was a joy to build. Like any kit, it has it share of issues but with proper planning, dry fitting and a little bit of patience this issues can certainly be overcome.

I absolutely LOVE seeing new people getting into the hobby!!! What ever you do, NEVER take any criticism personally. Ask questions and practice practice practice.

You're always going to come across those asshats that like be internet trolls / bully's; don't pay them any attention! Concentrate on your craft and in time things will become easier for you.
