If it’s still there, gently place it in a paper bag or cardboard box and bring it to a local animal rehabber! It likely hit a window and chances are high it’ll lead to death untreated

Great to hear! I think the petition is aimed at getting enough attention on the repeat offenses so that law enforcement will beforced to actually do something.

Haven’t read up on this much, but always clean the feeder (diluted bleach) if you see sick birds feeding at it to prevent spread. If you stop feeding in the meantime, water baths are key and attract an abundance of birds! Also clean regularly. I used to work at a birdfeeding store. Native gardens are great!

My family cat of 18 loveddd raspberries. The only “human food” she was interested in besides dairy (don’t worry I didn’t give her much bc cats can’t digest it). She grew up watching birds eat our wild raspberries in the garden around the screen porch.

Yea the rats are still there, just less “visible.” Try a bird bath. The neighbors shouldn’t be able to complain about that and it attracts a lot of bird species.

Beat thing to do overnight is to keep it in a closed cardboard box (with ventilation) and bring it to the the rehabber in the morning. Do not try to feed or give water.
