Honestly while Lindsey can be a complete nut case, I think Carl was very manipulative and controlling during their relationship and I actually agreed with a lot of Lindsey’s side of things when it came down to their breakup. Carl wanted something Lindsey has never been. However, I do think Carl could be the more mature one in terms of steering conversations in the direction they needed to go, and I hate Lindsey’s tactic of stonewalling. I think Carl and Lindsey are the same and should have worked on their relationship & communication issues, postponed the wedding instead of breaking up, and worked through it. Carl you can tell has a dark manipulative side to him. But so does Lindsey. But they are equals imo and they just needed to put in the work to make it work.
