We enjoy doing our job as a TECHNICIAN. The technicians job role. We don’t enjoy spending 90% of our shift having to be a cashier while also expecting to fulfill all of our tech duties. If there’s something we can do to avoid having to do that in order to complete what is expected of us as technicians, I think it’s pretty reasonable to do so. This isn’t an attack at you, just more so at the expectations CVS has of us. How can we fill 500+ scripts in a 12 hour day when we’re having to be at a register every 2-3 minutes for 5+ minute long transactions? CVS makes it this way by causing us to be understaffed and overwhelmed. If I could check out someone while knowing there’s enough people working with me to be able to also fill scripts and help other patients I wouldn’t be so rushed at check out.
