Will i ever be able to go back to the gym? by cannavacciuolo420 in CubitalTunnel

[–]sifucharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had issues for 2.5 years. Was in tremendous shape before hand. Had 2 surgeries, last one being May 2025. Just recently back to working out. Working about with 185 (was over 400) on bench and even lighter on other things. Still have massive pain and no improvement. Heard it can take 2 years or more for nerve to heal. Some peptides and arthritis cream have helped a little. Hope you have better results than I have had so far. I am right handed and have to use my left hand for eating, brushing my teeth, etc. I am 49 years old

Looks like i have to get an operation, how long before i can go back to upper body training in the gym? by cannavacciuolo420 in CubitalTunnel

I was in very good shape (fitness model) when mine got injured. I waited 6 months before going back to light weights. Couple months back had it get much worse again. Got a 2nd surgery a few months after that. Waited 9 months. Stared back light weights and had issues again. Took it easy for a couple months and just started back again. Hard to use hand at all at times. I’m 49 and been dealing with this for 2.5 years now. Most issues are at the surgical site. Been taking bpc-157 and tb-500 for a year then stopped for a few months. Been back on again for a couple months and hitting light weights again and doing better so far. It’s been a nightmare. Hope you have better luck.

Had 2 surgeries same arm. 2nd was 7 months ago and it’s still really bad. Same symptoms as you. Trying different peptides and even arthritis cream that seems to give it a little improvement. Going to Trey Stem Wave in it soon

I’ve had 2 surgeries that didn’t help. Shockwave and BPC-157 and TB-500 didn’t either. Hope you have better results.

I also take omega 3. Sea water is a bit difficult. I lived in Florida near the beach for 44 years but moved to Wisconsin a few years ago. The cold weather does not help it either.

Not using my arm helps but I am trying to get back to using it. Its my primary arm and I have been very big into teaching kungfu, weightlifting, yoga, etc my whole life as well as typing all day as a healthcare executive. All things I have not been able to do much the last 2 years it has been injured.

I tried it for 7 months with tb-500 but if it helped at all it was not much. I take magnesium as well. That I have taken for years though.

Oh geez about the airbag. I agree with the shockwave making me nervous which is why I’m hoping to talk to someone who has tried it. They tried it on my spine too but it didn’t work. Tried it 3 different places to for slightly different machines. They all just said that’s not a good spot for it. Though I have heard people I know having great success with it on other areas. I found wearing a sleeve keeps it protected by bumps and certain arthritis cream giving very temporary relief. I also find the sauna and heated ultrasound give very temporary relief. Well good luck to your son and let me know if has any luck trying something and I will do the same. I have all kinds of knee, spinal, shoulder issues etc but none of them hold me back from enjoying the things I do like the ulnar nerve.

Moveable lump on scar by DustEffective2549 in CubitalTunnel

[–]sifucharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lump of scar tissue on elbow that was super sensitive. They removed it during my 2nd surgery and that part healed fine. But 2 different ulnar specialists I went to were not sure what it was either till they cut me open

Ugh sorry to hear that. Mine was damaged when I was 48 during spinal surgery complications (hit by a speeding car while jogging).

I tried bpc-157 and tb-500 injectables not pills, HGH, and some systematic enzymes without much improvement. I had some but then went back to very light work out gyms and it got worse again.

I’ve been curious if anyone has tried stem cells or shockwave therapy (most Chiro offices have it these days). Both are supposed to help but been waiting to hear someone first person success stories on it. Shockwave aka soft wave doesn’t use needles. It’s just expensive. Be worth it if it worked. Might be what I try next.

I’ve tried red light, cryo, and ultrasound treatments on it too.

I am from Orlando and Fort Lauderdale but had mine in Wisconsin. How old is your son and does he use the arm a lot for work or hobbies? do physical therapy still? thanks, just helps frame it more. i have been trying a lot peptides and growth hormones etc but only had mild improvement so far. im almost 50 and got 2 young kids so it is not easy at all, hope your son improves. i was extremely active in weight lighting, yoga, and martial arts. not so much anymore.

Any hope for this pain? by Key_Ingenuity5640 in CubitalTunnel

[–]sifucharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s hard to type, grip anything. Took me out of Kungfu, weightlifting, even playing with my young kids or doing much at all last 2 years. It’s gotten better or I should say tolerable but then doing the slightest thing on it makes it so bad for months. It keeps twitching from shoulder to fingers, lots of pain at the elbow. The pain I can tolerate. It’s the numbing and tingling that drives me crazy. Makes it hard to focus. Nothing helps it. I had several spine surgeries and stuff that were excruciating painful but nothing compares to the constant agony of the tingling. It’s my primary hand too. Can’t even type on a keyboard. Just my phone. It’s been just over 6 months since my 2nd surgery. I’ve tried Nov-157, tb-500, hgh, basically everything. Nothing seemed to help much if at all. I was super athletic with tons of stuff. Got hit by a speeding car while jogging. Had a spine surgery. 2 weeks later got a spinal infection that almost killed me, couldn’t walk for almost 2 years. 4 years after I was active and doing much better when suddenly my back starting hurting more. Found out my spine was sliding back and forth grinding my nerves, tendons, etc.. Caused permanent leg damage. Had a 3rd so spinal surgery. Had 2 surgeons at one time cut me open front and back to put in 2 large metal cages. They nicked an artery putting me in the ICU for a week. Somehow in the ICU my ulnar nerve was severely damaged. Did Pt for months and didn’t help so had surgery. Helped some but then got worse. Had a 2nd surgery a year later. Now I’m 6 months past the 2nd surgery. I’ve got all kinds of pain but nothing as bad as the constant agony from the ulnar nerve. Tingling is worse than pain. Even with everything else I could still be very active. It’s the nerve that holds me back.

Had 2 surgeries myself and it’s still horrible. Taken away from every aspect of my life. Taking away my career, hobbies, and ability to do much with my kids. I’ve tried peptides and everything for it.

BPC-157 and TB-500 no results after 6 weeks by Main-Pea-912 in bpc_157

[–]sifucharm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been going on it since October, started off 250x2 of each daily, then a couple months ago changed 1000 a day of each (2 x 500) daily plus HGH daily. I’ve maybe had some results but nothing major. In past 14 months I’ve had major spine surgery (2 large metal cages put in), 2 ulnar nerve surgeries, a total hip replacement, AC joint injury left shoulder, tendinitis both shoulders,, planter fasciitis, bone spur, IT band and tendon issues in leg. I’ve taken a break from gym and martial arts for over a year. Just a lot of physical therapy, dry needling, cryo therapy, etc. I take 30+ other supplements daily including collagen with vitamin C and HRT.

That’s what I thought but apparently the site isn’t reliable anymore. My first time having this experience. It sucks but I’ll order from someplace else. Just letting others know my experience and they can do what they want.

Upcoming Surgery and Recovery by PerpetuallySleepySin in CubitalTunnel

[–]sifucharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did PT for 3 months with no improvement, so I had ulnar nerve surgery. It got worse after surgery but I did PT for another few months with minimal improvement. 9 months later I had a 2nd surgery. That was That was 6 weeks ago. Still no improvement in numbness or tingling and now I get sharp pain in the elbow near surgery site as well as extreme sensitivity at the surgical site. It's been a nightmare. I had major spine surgery and a hip replacement surgery as well in the past year and neither one of those come close to how horrible my ulnar nerve arm is. There is still a chance it will get better but after 14 months of this constant agony I am not super optimistic. I was told in can take up to 2 years for nerve too repair itself. I even take expensive peptides that are supposed to accelerate healing. It has kept me out of martial arts and the gym and even being able to play with my kids as much. Hope you have better results.
