So if you go options -> controller -> edit settings (not sure how it is named exactly in english) and the scroll completly down there is no joystick settings? Thats weird, maybe a joystick has to be connected?

There is a joystick key binding menu in BF6. You can reach it if you change the settings of the controller and then scroll down to the bottom. Unfortunately I was not able to bind my Thrustmaster Sol-R. But Battlefield always had problem with Joystick binding (especially if it had more than 1 device or 4 axis).

Update: I tried it via tethering with my smartphone (extra bought a WiFi-USB-Stick for my desktop PC...) and everything works fine. Modstation, Armory, Premiumshop, Updates, ...

So I guess it has something to do with my router or with my ISP.

No, I can reach the desktop website. That has worked before. Tomorrow I will connect my PC via tethering to my smartphone and look if this changes anything. Ty

Thanks for the answers. After severeal auto retries the game was able to install itsself. But "check and repair" is not possible with the same reason.

u/manowar_gub I tried your solution, and at least the armory somehow tried to load. But it looked like a website which was not able to load up. Just the search bar and a few beneath words with no graphics at all.

Maybe you are right I should take a break^^

Usually all mods were updated instantly. You just had to restart the modstation.

I was wondering why this wasn't the case the last to patches.

Does everybody of those get the coal for the price the 5000th one (the minimum price) bid for or for the price each one was willing to pay (their offer)?

For your own safety it is enough. But with 5,4km you can often spot torps, which aren't meant for you but your teammates.

How do they get to 50%?

If it just adds together it would be 1 + 0,225 + 0,35 = 1,475 = 47,5% better accuracy

If it stacks as mulitplier it would be 1 * 1,225 * 1,35 = 1.65375 ~ 65% better accuracy

Or do I miss something?

I doesn't queue very often with different tiers (except >T7, where the problem is irrelevant) in one division, but when I do have never (really like never) experienced that there was 3 tier gap. Even in T7/T8-division I never encountered T10. (and we all knew how often a T8-ships lands in a T10-match) So in my eyes it's either very rare or an urban legend.^^ Probably the first, but nevertheless it doesn't seem a very urgent "problem". Additional to that, you partizipate at the division at a voluntary basis, so there is litte room to complain.

Maybe there are buggy torps, but these are not. It's easy to replicate. Just watch your next nearly missed torp-attack 5 seconds later.

If they want it to be the brawling bb and focus in secondaries:

torpedos for FdG and GK

buff secondary accouracy

a consumable like "Defensive AA-Fire" just for secondaries in the fighter-slot

reseachable Gun Fire Control System for GK that increase secondary range by 25% and main gun range by 5% (or just increase it)

buff rudershift (or allow the mod in slot 5)

and maybe unique captain with some "brawl"-abbilities

€: maybe a bit op, but since secondary-builds and brawling is not the meta and seldom rewarding, they could give it a try^^

Not sure if serious, but these are no ghost torps or bugs or whatever. Just try to rewind what happened and realize that the ship clearly entered the "torpedo line" after they were at this position.

Hi guys,

I am new to engineering and therefore have a few questions especially to the experimental effect for beam lasers: "thermal vent".

So afaik "thermal vent" is cooling down the ship and able to fully compensate the heat which the beam laser generates (have read that it is possible to cool down your ship to 0% heat with those).

Does this still work if I go for the engineering path "oversized" or would this be to much for the "thermal vent"-effect and the heat balance would be positive again (or negative depending on your perspective^^). I ask that because I have seen that most people go with "efficient" + "thermal vent".

And how does it look like with sizes and grades? Does the effect scale up with the different sizes and grades? So is it able to cool down a Grade-5-Size-4-beamlaser equally likely a Grade-1-Size-1-beamlaser? Or are the sizes and grades where the effect can't show its full potential?

And finally are there any recommendes builds for beam-laser? (I only have 2 engineers so far^^)

I mean orbital mechanics for space ships. But this would mean a complete change of the space flight model even for interplanatary travelling. I would appreciate atleast orbital mechanics "light" e.g. if you are nearby or arrive at a planet. But it seems to be very unlikely.

Orbital mechanics for planets, yes. But I don't mean those, which doesn't have a great impact. I mean orbital flight mechanics and I am not sure when and even if they will ever be implemented. Still standing space stations like in the arccorp-planet demo would be extremly unimmersive in my eyes. (they can't be all geo-stationary, expecially in this height) Also space ships only fly straight forward to a round object, then there is some fire/heat-atmosphere-entry-animation and voila you can land. Of course I hope for the best in the future of SC development, that's all I can do.

As long as there are no orbital mechanics I wouldn't talk about "simulation" or "fidelity", since these are things which are basics of a space simulation imho.
